Hoping to surf a day or two in Brisbane

« on: December 18 2005 21:12:00 »

Hello,
I am coming to Brisbane for just a short visit JANUARY 24, 25, 26 and will be coming into the port on a ship.

Could you please tell me the best way to get from my ship at the Brisbane Port out to get a day or two of surfing in and where would be the best place to stay.

I have made quite a few stops in WA Margaret River and stayed in Bunbury, but this is my first trip to Brisbane and I am really stoked to finally get to visit the East Coast.

I live in Ocean Beach California and the water here is pretty cold right now. I am looking forward to just a pair of trunks in some warm water for a day or two while I am there.

  Thanks, and take care.

ALOHA
