from Russia - help to get involved« on: June 02 2004 07:06:00 »
Hi, everybody! I am new at such forums. I’ve never tried surfing, but recently it has become my life dream. Here in Russia there is no place to surf :( so I’ve been searching international sites for EITHER a quite acceptable 2-3 week offer (I am not for luxury at all) somewhere in Portugal or Spain (cause they are easiest to get visas to and cheapest in terms of airfare) OR a job offer in the same countries (for the same reasons) which could allow me to work and learn to surf. I am 27, a very motivated person, ready to do any work (preferably in surfing industry). Fluent English, being linguist by degree can learn another language very easily if required, excellent organizational skills (3 year experience in a tourism-related sector), CV available at request.
PLEASE HELP! email@example.com
Anyway I will be happy just to make friends!

Dear disillusioned comrade, why not try Kamchatka, Surfer Magazine did and scored clear green barrels from endless points and beachbreak; with volcanic back-drops, black sand beaches (Hanalei without the friendly 'locals'), thick conifer forests and salmon swimming upper crystal-clear streams (not typhoid Malibu or Doheny), it's much better in the homeland than dropped in by capatalist pig homeboiz! Nostrovia!
