Beginner surf spots close to sydney

« on: May 03 2012 04:05:00 »

Hello,
I am looking into having a working holiday in Oz in November for 6 months and am thinking about going to Sydney. Seems like the best option so far. I am wanting to develop my surf skills as I am a beginner and can surf fun 2-3ft waves in England. I would like anywhere within a 30 min drive as I'd like to just get in/out whenever I can and fit it around my job when I find one!! 6 months of sun and surf would be bliss.
Any ideas please?
Thankyou
