Hawaian Kings having chanter chanting on beach while riding waves« on: June 07 2012 02:06:00 »
Had an amazing wave today at the Pass. A big bird came along flying nearly going past me in the line up but turned and dove and I felt picked up a fish. A lot of guys out inside and real wide with big sets coming mostly wide. I finally scored one with a bit of a wory with so many guys wide etc and the wave being so big. Finally got up and was riding real wide so I started chanting out loud with it being such a great ride and having my arms up some and spread out some like a bird. I been to a Pentalcostal church and used to get into talking in tongues. The chant was reminding me of how the Hawain kings used to have a chanter chanting on the beach chanting while riding the waves. The big bird appeared and seemed to really wonder what I was doing and was following me. It had after a while went in front of me and was geting off my own energy to help it fly in front of me. Aloha

Reply from Jana ( But today I feel a bit crazy from the experience and think I may be mad)
I think it was Venus crossing the sun - a reflection, not just a bird but in person the Almighty blessed you with a blissful beyond space and time. I feel you've been there now, into a surf samadhi, before enlightment waxing your board, after enlightment waxing your board. I think it helped you, being able to give a voice to it. Maybe that bird will land on my balcony one day.
