first b4 you head out to the surf, you have to watcht the waves, see what they are doing. u should use a reasonably big and wide board to learn on and you should learn at a small safe beach. you can go on the interenet to find the very best way of learning how to surf, just type how to surf in on the google search. good luck mate and you will love it
