Surfing Moreton Island - North Point

Any one out there been over to Moreton Island recently? I visit the island annually at this time of year, and normally get a couple days of log riding on those long North Point Peelers. I'm about to head over again in a fortnight.

I read on the national parks website recently there's been bad erosion at North Point/Yellow Patch, and was wondering if this has effected the wave at all? Anybody got any intel?

RE: Surfing Moreton Island - North Point

Probally pretty heavy with the mullet travelling and the tailor behind en. So if you go keep a good lookout. I used to see such great waves in the early 70s but never surfed it yet. SW wind would probally be ideal.
