Wollongong Uni is one of the top Uni's in Australia. The surf pumps year round with quality reef and beach breaks. Mainly southerly swell in the winter months and east to northeast in the summer. Respect the locals and you will score great waves.

Wollongong vs Perth? I'm trying to decide between them (officially for school - but off the record, just on a student-loan-funded surf vacation), I just wanna be super close to the ocean and surf my brains out every morning before class. Any suggestions? (I've been surfing for about 6 years on beach and point breaks - looking for something to challenge my skills)
