Gold Coast vs. Nathan Griffith Campus« on: March 20 2006 18:03:00 »
I've been given a choice between transferring to the Nathan Griffith Campus or the Gold Coast Griffith Campus. I want to surf, but I also need a nightlife. Which one of these cities has the best balance of surf and nightlife? Also, how brutal are the waves there? I learned in Florida and will probably need to surf beginner to intermediate for a while before I tackle your waves!

nathan campus is on the outskirts of brisbane nathan is a suburb of brisbane and theres not much there, its about 40 minutes from the coast. Brisbane has pretty good/diverse city nihtlife but if your living in near nathan your a fair way from town.
you could move to the coast and live up the northern end near the beach and surfers paradise/broadbeadch wich are the best areas for nightlife.
or if you go to nathan id live as clsoe to the cuty as possible, ubtu still on the southside- stones corner isnt bad, west end is great but a bit of a mission to get to campus and your a good 40 minutes from the beach though at nathan.
