You poor soul mate,
There aint any waves up there, and I hope you know about the house and rental costs there (average rental $750 P/W). Do what ever you can to stay where you are, or try Perth. Closest waves to Karratha are in Perth, which pumps all year round. Can get a bit crowded, but there are so many epic set-ups there, that when its good the crowds spread out around all of the point-breaks on offer.

Closest waves to Karratha are in Perth? Perth pumps all year round? I've never heard such crap. There are absolutely insane waves around Carnarvon. Althought it is still a long way from Karratha, it's a lot closer than Perth. And Perth struggles to 'pump' in winter. In summer, forget it. But, yeah, avoid Karratha.
