Wetsuits...

« on: September 07 2006 12:09:00 »

I'm coming to live in Sydney from the end of October.  I currently surf in Ireland and use a 5-3 wetsuit, is there any point in bringing it at all?

Also I have heard that there are pretty big crowds around Sydney, how far out would I have to drive of a weekend to find some nice spots...  in Ireland anything more than 10 on a decent size beach break is a crowd...

Leave your 5X3 wettie home you won't need it unless you plan on going to Tassie as for the crowds have no idea don't live in that part of the country

Bro.. please dont bring that suit. Unless you wish to pass out from the heat. Seriously family back home are saying its in the high 20´s almost 30 so there is no way you will need it. However if you are surfing sydney you will need at least a 3-2 as its colder waters then up north, just take a springy. As for crowds, you have a better chance of getting a seat on the tube at London bridge at rush hour then you do of getting up crowded surfs, secret tip go for the REAL early.
