Have u decided on a particular area of Australia or are u still unsure - is a good time of the year for surf in West Australia although it is a bit sharky at that time of year - If u want bigger waves anywhere south of perth in the margaret river region would be ok although it can get pretty big - otherwise somewhere like surfers paradise in Queensland might be your go for consistent waves - although i cant comment on that area as have only been there once but there were waves every day - Hope this helps mate :)
