Surfing at The pass and Broken Head

Hi, am heading up to Byron in sept and i was wondering about the ideal conditions/consistency of both The Pass and Broken head.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

RE: Surfing at The pass and Broken Head

The Pass seems to have too much sand build up lately.
One real keen guy was out today on a mal though.

Broken hasn't been going off real good lately either.

I'd check breaks out on the way up Even Ballina being a better bet I feel or futher south.

Aloha
