Contrary to popular opinion, Perth is fairly consistent. I've been surfing here for 29 years and most mornings you can get a small wave at Trigg or Scarborough. If you're prepared to drive a little, you'll get some lovely lefts at The Spot at Yanchep, or further North at Lancelin. If there is an offshore, or light winds, Lancelin is as consistent as any surf spot in the world. Depending on how experienced and fit you are, you can paddle out at Hole in the Wall, about a 20 minute paddle or if you're lucky you may jag a lift on one of the cray boats. Eddie Island is a good right as well and back beach has awesome banks and short punchy waves. Enjoy
