Moving from Wales to WA - need info

Good morning people, I'm moving from Wales to WA in September. I'm an intermediate surfer (13 years) and have had some big days in the Canaries and NZ. What I would like to know is how are the wages over there? Lets say I move to Margaret River, and I need to start work right away. What would a builder's labourer take home each week ? What would a civil servant take home etc?  Can't f##kin wait to get over there and ride some heavy waves. The water is 9 deg here right now.

RE: Moving from Wales to WA - need info

you shouldn't have any probs getting work, even if ya cleaning villas or dish pigging you'll be on 20 aus an hour min, if you've got building experience all the better, cost of living is another thing, prices of food & rent, fuel is off the rictor scaling down your hard earn coin very quickly, remember margs is not on the coast so driving around sussing a surf ..it all adds up, but one good meaty WA barrel makes it all worth while.. good luck
