Sandy Lane Beach, west coast. Excellent for beginners. Bathsheba, east coast. Good spot.

Beginners should avoid the East Coast as that is the Atlantic ocen and not too kind to beginners.

Stick to breaks like Freights Bay , Dover, and Brandons on the south coast

West is better for begginers, east coast gets some size I wouldnt recommend it. Have fun driving it gets crazy on the roads.

i surfed in barbados for 6 years running and it were good. I got a 25 minute ride on a right to left and my 19ft board snapped into 17 bits on a 12ft barrelling wave. I risked my life that day. I dont go there any more because every time i've ever been there i never take my board. Clumsy i is!

i find that west is better for begginers, east coast gets some size I wouldnt recommend it. Have fun driving it gets crazy on the roads. I love surfing. Ever since i've started i never need to wear a wetsuit because i dont get wet. I'm that good. I have a 2 ft 1.1 inch longboard. Its a beast to ride. I surfed with 8 people on it at the same time.

There is quite a nice begginers wave sittuated at a place called 'surfers point', on the south of the island. Quite fun for begginners.
