Surfing in Pipa

Bom dia a tudo,
I plan to go to Pipa in april.
It's quite expensive to rent a surfboard on the beach on a dayly based.
Is there any good plan to buy or to rent a mini malibu close to pipa? surf shop in Natal?
The other option is to bring my own board with me, from europe and to pay the full price with TAP.
Thank you for your answers,

RE: Surfing in Pipa

I'll be travelling in a couple of days to Pipa, for the third time - Nice surf, weather, food and people make it a favorite winter (in Europe) hang out.
Sometimes you can get a cheaper price if you pay the whole period ahead, but at least in Pipa/Madeiro you'll get flat days and then it is not worth it anyway.
If you travel with a board you have to consider size, since the small buses (Golfinhos) will not transport you and the board since they fit less people by carrying your board (and therefor make less money).
I have considered these options, but always come to the conclusion that it is better anyway (even though more expensive) to rent daily. Also there is a lot of walking involved in Pipa and I do not wish to be carrying around a board (maybe a smaller 5,8" or 6")
