where to surf (beginner) between salvador and rio

« on: December 31 2009 04:12:00 »

i have 3 weeks travelling down from salvador to rio in feb 2010 and i want to stop somewhere for 7-10 days for surf lessons.  I have had couple of lessons but would still class myself as a beginner.  would prefer somewhere not too touristy!

where do people suggest?

Go to Billabong surf school and ask about Ari, he will teach you with soft boards all surf secrets at Baleia beach, a perfect place for beginners, near Cambury beach and Maresias.
São Paulo beaches are fantastic
