Location for Surf & KiteSurf« on: April 20 2010 06:04:00 »
I'm looking for a location where I can surf in the morning and kitesurf in the afternoon... a tad optimistic perhaps. Realistically a location where both are possible depending on weather conditions including equipment rental and a few kite refresher lessons. We're planning on going May/June. Would be good if it wasn't in a complete backwater but would like to avoid the cities - hoping not to have to watch our backs all the time. I accept we'll probably have to rent a car to get the most out of it but it would be nice if we didn't have to bother.

Florianopis in the south might be an option, good waves,a friend of mine was there few years back and kited 2-3 days per week on the lagoons with big kites.
Or come and visit us here in Cabarete, DR
