So I have read about the "spots", the "localism" the "gear" to use. Apparently people surf out here, but I have still have no replies to my desperate cries for help. Someone on this site must be able to give me some information that would be strong enough to convince me to get my gear sent up from storage.... if there are any people who actually get out there and surf these lakes (rather than just talk about it!) please drop me a line. I need to get out there.

Of the 4 days I have been down to the lake this week, there were rideable waves everyday, some even 6 ft. It's not the ocean.

OH YEAH, What localism? There are not enough surfers to have localism. We welcome ALL!
