try kannon beach windsurfing shop they are kite surfers. lawrencetown beach, porters lake , martinique beach thatll help

I heard that its a little tricky to get on to! If you windsurf thats half the batle I guess its tricky getting back upwind once your blown all the way to the leeward side of the lake, and dont try to learn in the ocean when its hard offshore wind!!

i THINK THE best SPOT FOR KITE SURFING IS Kingsburg Beach just south of Lunenburg. You might try the kayak shop in Mahone Bay. I see some of those guys out at Hirtles Beach a lot kiting. Also, the surf shop in Lunenburg has a number of guys who seem to know what's up. Eric

I am returning back to beauitful N.S. in May and would love to try kite surfing out even though I have never tried anything like it before! I am definitly willing to learn!!!! I spent some time researching online and there seem to be just a few kitesurfing instructors in Nova Scotia. This is not a sport to teach yourself - it has some potential dangers. www.kitesurfingnovascotia.com seems to have an experienced instructor. You could try them. Have fun learning to kitesurf in beautiful Nova Scotia.
