dude, Im a maine surfer Planing a trip to canada. Your in luck, maine is pretty good year around, but avioid it in august, then it sucks. go to higgins beach, old orchard, kennebunk breaks, wells breaks are my favriote "rivermouth,  jetty, or marginal way(experianced)" wells suffers from localism so dont act up. but dont surf in caso bay. its shit. if you feel like it go to Hampton beach NH, its close to the breaks and is fun.
