Sorry Jase. My boyfriend didn't use the KY AGAIN! So my arse was sore when I wrote that last email. I'm just touchy because me and him keep fighting all the time. I think he has another boy and that really upsets me. What do you think I should do? You are probably not queer like myself but any help in this matter. By the way I don't even surf. I'm a poser who only wishes I could surf. You great lake guys ROCK!

Head down to Kettle Point near the bay during a good blow from the northwest. You can also try just beside the south pier in the harbour, larger swells travel across the channel before breaking. If you're just starting out, head towards Southcott or the Pinery, Use the smaller waves to practice your paddling and gain balance. As you progress, you'd really have to head towards KP for some great breaks. Main beach has some good breakers 10 -15 'fts on strong days, however you have to contend with the rip current to the pier and the sets can be very random and you'll get the odd haystack.
Good luck with your adventure with surfing, enjoy the ride....
