North of Halifax...« on: September 11 2006 15:09:00 »
We have a place north of Halifax (a couple of hours, near sherbrooke). I know of the breaks south of Halifax- but I am trying to find out about anything north and closer to where we will be?
In a separate question- has anyone surfed the tidal bores on the other side?

and there we have it...
More people talking about hurting each other because someone wanted to know where to 'share' waves with someone else.
It's not necessary to try to hog all the waves to yourself. Sometimes you just have to share...
I don't see people on the ski hills killing each other in the lift-line because someone let someone else in on that secret.
Why has surfing turned into such a rude sport now. Nobody has any patience anymore, etc. If you read the storm riders guide there is a part there where Nova Scotia is rated very high for surf conditions, but they ranked it very low on other items because there was such a huge rate of localism there.

localism is not anew thing, you must be new to the sport, you sound like achick. are you hot?
