SURF COMPS IN CANADA??

Hey, I have been looking hard into finding some surf comps in Canada and can't seem to find any for the 2005 season... if anyone knows about any comps can you please let me know.

Hayley,
There are some surf competitions out in B.C during the summer months such as the Roxy Pro.  Are you speaking about competitions to compete in yourself?  If you are, and if you have the time and money, I would suggest heading out to California for the summer.  There are amateur and pro comps that run almost every weekend throughout the summer between San Diego and Malibu.  The entrance fee will run you about $40/comp.  Alone, there are atleast 5-6 comps in Huntington Beach between May and August.

Theres a few out in nova scotia... but the biggest one would have to be the red bull ice break held in the winter..

Thanks Dan,

Well I myself would love to compete, but probably couldn't do it this summer.  

I am mostly looking into competitions to sponsor... I am the event marketer with an up and coming water company and I would really like to get into the surf world... I dont' have to stay within Canada, but it would be easiest that way.  

I really appreciate your help and if you have any more information that would be wonderful!
