best possible spot« on: August 16 2011 22:08:00 »
I will be arriving in Kingston airport, and I would like to know which is the nearest point to surf. Not a big extremely powerfull wave with rock at the botton waiting for you to fall into the water and cut you down... cause I still wipe out a lot...jajaja...and probably I will have one day to try catch some fun. How far is kingston located from Saint Andrews? Is that the best option? It can be done in 3 days?

Big Sandy Bay on Wolfe Island: take the ferry from Kingston harbour and head southwest. There is a parking lot in the conservation area which will cost you $$ or you can try driving on to the end of Reeds Bay rd. Bring your own gear, Kingston has no surfshop. Pray for wind, lake waves aren't like ocean waves: inconsistant. Good luck, enjoy!
