Chile Chile

« on: January 26 2007 17:01:00 »

I'm from Argentina. This year I've been in Brazil (Praia do Rosa) surfing, with a couple of friends, and next year our idea is to go to Chile by car.
I've been told this guide is really good, how good is it?? Thank you for the information.

The water is colder than in Mar del Plata??

Of course! chilean sea is a lot colder than the sea in mar del plata. You must wear a suit (4.3 is reccomended) specially if you go south of Santiago.

New Surf film - "TRILOGY.'

I tried creating a new thread to post this question but I got some daft error...

There is a new surf video out with some of your regular surf vets.  They hit up a handful of spots, but most of the film is done in Chile.  The title is "TRILOGY."

If anyone knows where I can get this online to watch on my computer definitely, let me know.  If you have the video on your computer I can give you my email so you can send it to me, I'd greatly appreciate the act.

i wasn't able to get to the website. i tried a bunch of times over the past few days, but to no avail. i did find a surfing guide for chile at the blue planet surf maps website. i've briefly looked over it and it seems quite comprehensive.

The site works fine, minus the fact that I can't seem to order the guides.

There is an email address on the "contact us" page; is that how you guys went about ordering the surf guides from this site?
