Travelling around Iquique

Hi,

I'm a 21yr old Aussie bodyboarder travelling alone and wondering if anyone wants to hook up and find some waves?

I fly into Iquique on 23rd Sept and am there for about 4 weeks. I am planning to visit Arica aswell.

If anyone knows of good places to stay in Iquique and best way to get around and could tell me that would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Byron

RE: Travelling around Iquique

I went to Iquique on a ship a few years ago. Actaully I had my 21st birthday there, so some memories are a little fussy. Taxis are the best way to get around. We paid one like 4 bucks and he drove us all up and down the coast there to check all the surf spots. There where a lot of bodyboarders there. But not crowded that's for sure.
