buying a board!« on: March 30 2013 04:03:00 »
I've just checked and its going to cost over £300 to take my board with me on the planes from the Channel Islands...I am on a 4 week surf trip. Is buying a board over there going to be a better option and can I pick a decent board at a resonable price? Is Jaco going to be the best place for this? Im frustrated! hopefully I can pick one up over there...I could buy a custom made board for the same price as transporting mine to CR!! ha - Thanks xxx

I rented my board from http://www.sanjosesurfboards.com and got it delivered to the airport.

Exactly --airlines suck --u r best off picking 1 up in Jaco --plenty of shops to choose from. Chuck's is for sure a good bet --he has quite a selection and if he doesn't have it, I bet he can find it.
