Best surf camp in Costa Rica« on: October 25 2013 08:10:00 »
I am looking to join a surf camp in Costa Rica, but there's seems to be such a variation in prices, from 300 USD to 3000 USD per week, so i'd like to hear some feedback from people that have been to a surfcamp in Costa Rica, or alternatively Nicaragua.

Depends on what you want. For excellent instruction with a real curriculum, Surf Simply, or Peaks 'n Swells (run by surf simply founder's ex). Pricey but worth it if you want to really learn. For a more basic "push you into the wave- paddle paddle paddle" but with good food and accomodation, Vista Guapa in Jaco.

Thanks for the tips, but that is way out of my budget unfortunately. I did find Witches rock Surf Camp, and that is more my price range. I am not sure about the quality of accommodations they offer though. Any other tips?
