You can find a lot of boards in jaco, there is a shop called fischer bros, they have good selection of new & used boards, you can also rent a board and if you like it buy it later.

In Jaco there are so many surf shops. Fischer Bros. is the best i think. Nico Fischer is a great shaper. One of the best thing about there boards are the brothers work on them themselves. They design the shape and everything. Also you can get a custom board from there for not that much. I think i pain less then $400 for my custom board. And Nico signed it so its a collectors item. The brothers are great and work with you to get you the best board. There shop where they make the boards is actually a little outside in Hermosa. It would be a 1500 colone cab ride from jaco. Thats about $3 or it was this summer. there is a smaller shop in jaco though.
