Bring my board, rent, or buy?

I'm a beginner/intermediate surfer, going to tamarindo in november. I've been on a 9' epoxy lb with a pretty raised rocker for a yr & a half up here in wa state. It's what I'm most comfortable on & what I'd love to have with me. But for 300$ to fly it (plus idk what it's going to cost to get from Liberia airport to tamarindo) I'm wandering if I should just rent or buy there. From what I've seen on the local shops websites I'm not going to find an exact copy to rent so any suggestions would be appreciated
