Traveling with Board Costa Rica« on: December 26 2017 18:12:00 »
Any recommendations for good waves during holy week/what it will be like traveling with a board then? I've heard Caribbean or South Pacific are better to avoid crowds and long lineups, but would love some first person experience if anyone has any. Thanks! Pura vida

Also any input on whether I should bring a board bag with me if i'm buying a used one down there (will be in CR from January to April) or should I also just buy a bag down there as well.

Buy a board down here. Do not bring one. I bought and so far it has turned out quite well. Jacó, as unnecessary a place to visit compared to the rest of CR, has a pretty good selection of boards, short and long. Not too pricy and the buy back program is good compared to most places I've been to. Waves are a little slow right now where I am at but all in all, I recommend buy a used board down here and traveling with it via bus
