My two sons (22 and 16) and I are going to Tamarindo from 8/30 thru 9/5. I am trying to book a trip out to Ollie's and Withches. If you are interested in hooking up with us email me at We are intermediate surfers and have been to Costa several times before. This will be second trip to Tamarindo area.

if your staying in a hostal you wont have any problem rounding up a few guys to go to ollies and witches. make sure you check out the forcasted swell before you book cause if the swell isnt coming in at the right angle your not gonna surf a fckin thing. ollies point was literally flat. we ended up wake boarding behind our boat with our surfboards for two hrs waiting for it to pick up before we left for witches. even witches rock was pretty tame. was still a lot of fun though. even if the waves are small there, they'll still hold shape.
