where to go/ less crowds

Hey folks,
I'm planning to take my dad on a trip for his 50th to costa rica in july, we would love to get uncrowded surf. If you have any ideas or suggestions i'd greatly appreciate it. I hope all is well

Husband and son like to go to Playa Grande and stay with the nice people at RipJackInn.  Your dad would probly like that or the Los Tortugas next door--although the food is good at RipJack

just got back from costa rica. unless you are surfing the very competitive breaks there, you can have all the waves you want. mostly beach breaks with lots of peaks. an average wave in spots like jaco and tamarindo this time of year. i found a lot of closed out waves.

Looking for surf spots in Costa Rica ?
