Hi all, organizing a trip for a pretty large group of about 10-14 or so. We are a mixed group, couples, some non-srufers, some begginer types and a few more seasoned surfers. My first time to CR and I was wondering where the best all-around spot would be for us to set-up shop for surfing and other activities. So far Ive been loking mostly at Nosara and Mal Pais. Any thoughts?

Two different types of places. Nosara is a little bit more upscale, but still fun and laid back. Lots of yoga classes, massage, good vibe. Mal Pais is great and there are some nice hotels but it is still a little more of a backpackers spot.

I live in Costa rica and definitly can help you organise your trip from renting a truck or van to finding the right spot.
Mal pais (Santa teresa) is stricktly a surf spot so can be a little boring for non surfers and waves can get immense. Did you look around dominical and Jaco?
