Looking for a place to stay in Cabo Matapalo« on: April 07 2009 13:04:00 »
My girl and I are looking for a place to stay in late July-early August in Cabo Matapalo. I know there aren't many options there, but we would be stoked if we could find a one bedroom with a private bathroom. Any help would be excellent... thanks guys.

If your budget is really not a prob.? Then Rio lapas is elite!
If medium range is your budget then Brian at encanta la vida is where my wife and I stay he does a bfkt. and dinner included right on the breaks Backwash or Pan dulce nice bungalows!
Casa Picaso just outside 10 minutes by car to pan dulce, is a great place also right on Germanys not much of a crowd.
And if $$ is a prob Rent a cheap car, 4 wheel not needed anymore down there and stay in Jimmenez. There are a variety of places there now and drive in and surf everyday and drive out takes maybe 1/2 hour either way.
If ya need more help let me know should be good there that time of year we may take a trip down then myself.
Pura Vida Mark

I'd stay away from "colorado chris" and anything to do with him. He's an agro wave hog who isn't really helping the community, and isn't very highly thought of. He tries every year to sell his place when he leaves during the rainy season, saying how much he hates it here, then comes back in the fair weather to take money from people like you. Go back to colorado, chris.

B GOODWATER must have some agenda, as we just stayed with Chris from Casa Colarado and he is an extremely nice guy with a great knowledge of the area. Would definitely recommend Casa Colarado

No agenda, but sometimes the truth sounds a little harsh. I'm curious how you were able to stay with Chris last month when he hasn't been around in a year?

In retrospect, I've been unfair to Chris. We talked about this thing, and he didn't really deserve quite the rap I gave him. So -- I apologize. I hope the forum moderator sees this and deletes my other posts. Sorry Chris.

Hey thanks Brian for setting the record straight !!
If anyone would like to come down and visit, the waves have been super fun and the fishing has been excellent, not to mention the abundance of wildlife and waterfalls that can be explored.
So give me a shout at email@example.com
