traveling around costa rica with a longboard... a hassle?

« on: May 08 2009 22:05:00 »

well its only 8 feet. but kinda long for me at 5'2".
is it easy to travel with a board this long? will i be able to catch a bus from the airport (san jose) to the pacific coast with it, without to much hassle and negotiating? how about travel between coastal towns?
i would rather not rent a board cos im going to be there for a month. just wanna know how hard it is to get around with one.
any insight would be appreciated! thanks!

linton
