Depends where you go on the Pacific side, south of the Central can get really rainy! Central and North fairly nice weather may rain a little in Guanacaste. If so, it can be quick and rivers come up suddenly.Since most good surf spots are where you may have to cross a few rivers it may get a little hairy but, is definitely and adventure. All of Central Pacific is easily accessible good roads but, a little crowded. So far this year the crowds are not so bad do to the economy. Surf can still be good also.Rains usually start in the p.m.
Hope answers your question!
