are there any job possiblities for a gringo?

« on: October 13 2005 09:10:00 »

hello all,
im a 25yo spanish speaking californian who was wondering what the possibilities are for finding a part time job to help offset living/surfing expenses while on my 3-6 month stay here on the pacific coast of CR.  has anyone heard of someone getting a chill job (im not expecting alot of money, maybe just some meals or discounted rent) at a resort or a restaurant? i would not be legally documented to work of course, but you´d think that having an english speaking person on staff might help during the high season.  just a thought...
