Traveling to Pavones in April ~« on: March 11 2010 22:03:00 »
What are you thoughts on beginner surfers hitting Pavones in late April? A couple of us are beginners....are there a wide enough variety of waves down there to accommodate the newbies?
Any other thoughts/rec's on the area are welcomed!

I know its late, bc you may already be down there. I have been to Pavones, but never this time of year- Aug & Dec.The waves were small &great for a beginner. I know this doesn't help you out much. I wanted to recommend a couple places in town to try out- the newish restaurant across the road and diagonal from the cantina. i can't believe i don't remember the name though. Erg! They serve a delicious seared Tuna. The portions are big for the low prices. & the brownie a-la-mode was spectacular too. We stayed at an amazing villa a short walk from a basically private beach. Gorgeous sunsets. The website for this house so you can see some pics is super easy to remember too: villapavones.com Duh, a villa in pavones! The best part was the pool!
