Need tips on surfing and traveling in Central America

« on: November 10 2010 22:11:00 »

I'm planning on traveling through Central America for a month starting in February. I would love to learn how to surf but don't know really where to start (so many options). I was looking for suggestions on what are best locations for beginners to learn, and where I should go for affordable lessons. I plan on surfing during my whole trip but I just need a few tips on how I should go about this since I'm a beginner. I will be flying into either Nicaragua or Costa Rica at the start of my trip and will most likely stay in hostels if that helps with any suggestions.

Thanks!

I got a nice holiday in El Salvador last week, the surf is great, I was in Playa El Tunco and at El Zonte both village are great, a few hostals and surfcamps around, small parties, I really enjoy my time there, the waves will be small in february, For learning you are going in the best time,  I book my trip with www.elsalvadorsurfcamps.com, I got airport transfer and they show me around the best spots to stay.

Gook luck and have fun.
