Playa Guiones has excellent surfing, Samara is not that known for great surf, but i have never surfed there myself though.
Nosara has been on my surf holiday list for the last 4 years now, I love it.

Samara is no good for waves… not at all. It's about an hour drive from Guiones - Barigonna is close by, but still a trek. Guiones all the way!
