i live in portland oregon(just moved here a month ago for a job transfer from san diego). i am interested in taking a 1-2 wk surf trip in either early summer or early fall. i would like to find some travel partners. i am really interested in going to costa rica or puerto rico---open to other cool surf spots too. let me know if youre seriously interested in planning a surf trip. thanks, brian

thanks for the heads up. i'm 24 yrs old and i think i'd be fine traveling alone, however; i would just like to have some company but of course i would like to talk to and get to know whoever would be going on our surf trip.

The great thing about surf trips, is meeting other surfers in the lineup . I was in Cape Hatterous last August and met up with, Some of my old elementary friends from Jersey. They all knew I now reside in Rochester, But were surprized that I surf. We joked about lake Ontario, and they were surprised that for a person that only gets to surf 2-3 weeks a yr. How skilled I was. They were in the water practicing for the EcSa Surfing contest down there, and we all thought it be funny if someane from Rochester entered the contest. Amagine what the Annoucer would say, " Going in the 2 heat we ha Tom adams from....huh...wha...this sais Rochester N.y. " Anyway,regardless on how far I'd go in the contest. It would be funny to hear

well byan, the test of a true surfer is to surf alone...dont be a poser. oh yeah and watch out for big shaRKS, THEY HAVE SHARP TEETH..
