Does anyone know what you would spend in C.R. on a day? say backpacking...how much are hostel prices over there and is it easy to travel by public transport? Food...? of course you can make it as expencive as you wish...but if anyone would have an indication...would be great! Thanks

there are quite a few hostels for $10 a day, some that will give you a break for longer stays. i budget $10 a day for food, but rarely spend that much. i bring a big box of cereal with me.
