gubia is really dirty, I've lived here most my life and I don't surf there anymore, I got white bloches on my body from surfing there. You may run into a dead chicken or bottles or shoes or tooth brushes or many other crap articles. There is a river just by there and when it rains the people throw there garbage in the streets and it washes into the river and then it ends up in gubia. But if you go to the plaza gubia and hang out there a bit and get to know there surfers, they may be willing to show you some spots and give you a ride, there is very much a surfer family here, but if you are not born into it, you got to find someone to adopt, good luck.

I am leading a Music team to Santo Domingo as part of a mission tripp in july. I would like to know if there are any guys from Christian Surfers there, or anyone that could help me get to some surf spots at the end of our mission. I'm 55 ride a 9'6 in Fla. I have surfed mex, costa, nica, hawaii. Been doing missions in Hispanic countriers for many years. Always like to enjoy a few waves at the end of the trip.
