Going to Punta Cana Feb 24th. Did a web search and saw that I should be bringing a surfboard? I am there on business as an airline crew member! Is there a decent break near by. Only there 2 days... So this is the first recon for the hotel! and the area.. Other suggestions for the trip!

Ive been there 3 times and Punta Cana has little to no waves to speak of. The best surfing is in the North. Even Santo Domingo has very limited surfing

I too will be in Punta Cana at the end of April. REading other emails I realize that the good surfing is to the north. How far of a drive north do you need to go to get to waves from PUnta cana? What is the closest surf spot? What is the better surf spot?
