At Ali's surf camp in Cbarete you can rent boards, or at Renee's rental shop at Encuentro good boards are availlable.

Jim: thanks.  Any rental shops on the south shore? we're flying into Santo domingo, and if there is any decent surfing south, well take it vs. putting in the drive time up north. (recommended south shore beachs?)

Thanks much.

What are the rates?  Can you get discount for a weekly rental?

Ask Caleb at Ali's surf camp. I think it' arounf 10 US for a day for quality custom boards in lots of different sizes.
