Rippable lefts in photo

Can anyone confirm whether those lefts (presumably where a contest was held) are actually at encuentro beach. I will be going there soon and those lefts look pretty rippable but reading these comments I get the impression the only lefts are at destroyer/el canal. Anyone who has been there must be able to confirm. Thanks Wilson.

RE: Rippable lefts in photo

The left at Encuentro is where most of the surf constest was held. When it breaks in the right swell direction it's one of the best surfing spots close to Cabarete.
Stay at Ali's surf camp is good

Thanks Jim sounds like a good wave. It will probably be obvious but when you turn up at encuentro - (say you are facing the sea) do you head to the left or the right of the beach to get this lefthander? Thanks again Wilson.

The left is on the left, and can be seen right when you are at Encuentro ( if it's working)
