Board size for surf DR North Coast in September??

What kind of board is recomended for surfing North Coast from Sept - Dec??

I have a 6,5 Fish and a 7,0 mini mal...  Should i bring them both, only one or get other sizes??

Better to bring them both. In December the waves are normally higher than in September. But also in September there can be days with huge waves. If you put them together in one boardbag, you probably pay the same for the flight.
If you need other info about Encuentro (one of the best spots at the north coast) or Cabarete, just send me an e-mail.

hello,
im planning a trip for mid oct to mid november.thinking DR,
any info about accomadation , rentals would be great , i can bring my own board if airlines are of, am coming from ireland.
want easy easy access to surf!
whos relaible and efficient as a tour guide / camp?
will be on my own.

Ali's surf camp is the only surf camp in town, that rents out different boards, does lessons and tours to varous surf breaks on the north coast.

i'm looking to rent an apartment in cabarete next may for about a month,whats the best way to go about it?is it safe to rent a place and how much would it cost?would it be a good idea to rent a car for the month to travel around the island or do you recommend staying around puerto plata and cabarete?can i but long boardsw out there or should i bring my own?cheers for the help.........

HI,BOARD SIZE IT DEPENT HOW BIG THE WAVES ARE AND WHAT LEVEL OF SURFING YOU HAVE ., IF THE COST OF THE PLANE TO BRING IT IS LOT IS BETTER TO RENT IT HERE. i RUN  BOBO SURFUP SCHOOL IN CABARETE AND WE HAVE ALL SIZES OF BOARDS .IF YOU LIKE ASK FOR THE PRICE THAT YOU WILL PAY TO BRING IT  AND IF YOU THINK IT WILL BE GOOD TO RENT IT FROM US JUST LET ME KNOW.PRICES FOR RENTAL IT WILL DEPENT FOR HOW LONG YOU WILL WANT IT .
