Hi I'm going to Sosua in June/July. I want to do some surfing and would probably want a couple of lessons - I have had two days worth before. How far away is there a surf school and how much is lessons/board rental?

Are the waves consistently good in DR in December?  It's hard to believe that a place that is know for great wind and kite surfing isn't blown out most of the time.
